EDITORIAL POLICY

Evidence before a score.

Prop Firms Judge publishes a comparison of futures prop firm accounts. Our purpose is to make the cost, constraints and differences between trading phases easier to inspect.

Who publishes this research?

The publisher is Prop Firms Judge. This is an independent comparison project, not a prop firm, broker or regulator. The catalogue is not proof that a firm pays reliably or that a trader will pass.

Sources you can check

Each researched field keeps its official source link, the date it was read and any caveat. A general sales page and a detailed policy can disagree: contradictions must remain visible until resolved. Missing facts stay unconfirmed, rather than becoming zero fees or unrestricted trading.

A publication date is not a new verification of every source. Review-due dates are targets; automatic weekly research is not running. Prices and promotions can change before a scheduled review.

One account, different phases

Evaluation, simulated funded and live rules are kept separate. Direct entry does not necessarily mean live capital. Legacy and current programmes do not inherit one another’s conditions.

We distinguish when a drawdown threshold moves from when it is enforced. A floor calculated at the end of the day may still fail an account during an open trade.

What the judgement measures

The board compares account conditions with comparable configurations. Its detailed difficulty view assigns editorial severity and weights to individual constraints: drawdown, loss enforcement, daily limits, sizing, consistency and other documented restrictions. Passing, preserving an account and withdrawing profits are different problems.

Missing inputs prevent an exact assessment. A range is not a prediction of your chance of passing. Relative marks depend on the comparison group, and a favourable mark does not establish profitability or suitability for a particular strategy. Open the board’s judgement detail for the current model, factors and evidence coverage.

Some rules are documented but not modelled, including the Apex Legacy per-trade MAE restriction. The field audit identifies these gaps. Live-account transitions and the combined effect of every trading rule are not fully simulated.

Affiliate links and commercial independence

Links labelled Affiliate may earn us a commission. Other links open the firm’s official website. Affiliate relationships do not change our scores or sort order. An affiliate link alone does not establish the size or availability of a discount: confirm the final offer at checkout.

Official research citations remain source links, not affiliate redirects. Logos identify the firm and do not imply endorsement.

Corrections and limitations

The linked official policy and applicable account agreement should be checked before purchase. If you find a discrepancy, retain the exact configuration, rule, source URL and date so it can be checked. We do not currently provide a public correction submission form.

This research is educational information, not personalised investment advice. Fees may be lost; simulated performance and nominal balances do not establish real-market returns.
